The Beachy Do

I am just head over heels in love with this hair.  The beachy waves has got me grooling, and made me realize 

I need more texture in my hair. I just got a perm a few months ago, but when I try to style it I look more like a poodle then a beach goddess.  Hopefully if I try styling wax I can get more a natural look, or it can be worse and I'll look like I haven't taken a shower for days.  Only experimentation will tell.  Wish me luck!
